Jackie Marie Seniors 4th of July shoot

Lets celebrate the 4th!!!!! Everyone loves the 4th of July what is not to love about BBQ, get together's, and of course the grand finally of fireworks! Here are a few facts that you may or may not know about the 4th. The 4th is also known as Independence day. The celebration goes back to the American Revolution. On July the 2nd 1776, the Continental Congress voted in favor of independence. Two days later the 13 colonies adopted the Declaration of Independence, therefore on the 4th became the day of Independence. The first formal celebration held in Philadelphia in 1777. John Adams (one of the six who wrote the DOI ) believed that July 2nd should be the day and it is said that he would turn down invitations for the 4th and have a party on the 2nd. Technically I think he was correct.

Either way today Independence is celebrated on the 4th of July and we are so lucky to live in the Land of the FREE!!!!!!!!!
